Women in Africa are at great risk: they have fewer rights, they are more prone to disease, they are poorer, exploited and marginalised and the strong women of Africa are discouraged from financially providing for their families and supporting their local economies. In short, women in Africa need to be empowered. They are the great untapped resource of Africa. At Positive Women we want to help change attitudes, empower women, create local economic growth and deliver help them deliver a better future for Africa.
