The Wooler Wheel

The Wooler Wheel is a series of cycle challenges in Glendale, North Northumberland.

New for May 17th 2014 is The Wooler Wheel Borderlands where the unique meets the unusual - a unique challenge and an unusual venue! All proceeds will go to Cash for Kids and our ambassador for the event is author and ITV cycling's Ned Boulting.

The route is a first for the Wooler Wheel and this area; a 170km cross-border sportive which is, in the opinion of the Routemaster, equal to if not more challenging than the Etape Caledonia and over more diverse scenery.

On the same day is the first ever British junior specific sportive. This is a 30km ride, ideal if your children are just starting out cycling. Two shorter routes of 100km and 60km are also available.
