September 2015 marked the 40th anniversary of the separation of the Knight Templar Province of Northumberland and Durham and throughout the year to September 2016 we celebrated the 40th anniversary of the Provincial Priory of Durham by opening a Relief Chest which resulted in a £14,000 donation to the St John of Jerusalem Eye Hospital Group.

The St John of Jerusalem Eye Hospital Group is the only charitable provider of expert eye care in the West Bank, Gaza and East Jerusalem, treating patients regardless of ethnicity, religion or ability to pay.

Their flagship hospital in Jerusalem, satellite clinics in Gaza, Hebron and Anabta, and a mobile outreach team which travels across the West Bank taking eye care to isolated communities, ensures they have the greatest possible reach and impact.

This is the adopted Charity of our Order of Knights Templar and all further contributions made via this online giving platform will also be donated to the Eye Hospital Group.

To make a donation please click on the "Donate" button at the top of the page.
