SPW’s Hyde Park Triathlon has now finished

18 Apr 2010

Swim, cycle and run to support young people in developing countries!

SPW's Hyde Park Triathlon takes place in the 2012 venue and is ideal for first-timers and experienced tri-athletes alike.  The friendly atmosphere is a combination of the event being small (350 people max) and the cheering and support from marshals, race staff and spectators.

The event begins with a 400m open water swim in the Serpentine (the professionals will go first and if you are a nervous swimmer, don't worry - you can touch the bottom at all times!)  This is then followed by a 15km cycle on South Carriage Drive and a 5km run through the park.  Participants can either take part as individuals or in teams of 3, doing 1 leg each.

The non-refundable registration fee for this event is £35 and the minimum fundraising target is £225 per participant.  All monies raised go directly to supporting the life-changing work SPW does with young people. To register online or to find out more about the event, go to www.spwtriathlon.com.  Alternatively, please contact Liz West, the event organiser: Email; liz.west@spw.org, Tel; 020 7808 1793.

Thank you again for your support.  SPW are very grateful and if you would like to receive quarterly updates of our work, please email your request to: liz.west@spw.org
