Every year one fifth of all cancers diagnosed are urological – affecting the prostate, bladder, kidney testicular and penile cancer. Yet the investment into finding new treatments and cures is low.

This Urology Awareness Month TUF we need your help to beat the big five urological cancers by taking on The Urology Foundation’s Big 5 challenge. Our hope is that by the end of the month we will have raised over £60,000 that can go towards funding a research project that looks into urological cancer.

During the month of September we want you to set a goal of raising £500 or more through as many fundraising activities as you like. Together we can help power cutting-edge work that might lead to better ways of treating the disease.

The Urology Foundation

Our urology health is vital to our quality of life. But diseases and cancers of the kidneys, bladder, prostate and male reproductive organs are becoming more prevalent and devastating the lives of millions of men, women and children in the UK and Ireland.

The Urology Foundation is committed to transforming the lives of people with a urology condition through ground-breaking research, training and education. Working with researchers, urology and health care professionals we are dedicated to improving the nation’s urology care to ensure that fewer lives will be devastated.
