Bedfordshire Scouts Appeal

Right Worship Brother Anthony P Henderson (Provincial Grand Master of Bedfordshire), has asked the Province of Bedfordshire to Fund a Lasting Legacy to Commemorate the Tercentenary of English Freemasonry & Leave a Lasting Legacy for Future Generations of Scouts & the Youth of Bedfordshire.  The Legacy known as the “Bromham Scouts Accommodation Project” will design and build a 48 Bed State of the Art Accommodation Block at the Leslie Sale Scouts Activity Centre in Bromham.  The Centre is used by thousands of Bedfordshire Scouts and the Youth of Bedfordshire every year.

To help raise funds for this Lasting Legacy, Worshipful Brother Terry Thurley, Master of the Bedfordshire Lodge of Provincial Grand Stewards No. 9577, will undertake a sponsored Wing Walk in May 2019.  When told of the idea, the Provincial Grand Master, Right Worship Brother Anthony P Henderson stated that “Terry Must Be Bonkers”.

“Bonkers Terry”, will be strapped to the wings of a bi-plane.  Once the bi-plane hits 70 mph, it will take off and accelerate to 130 mph, as it fly’s across the English Countryside and hopefully lands safely with “Bonkers Terry” still strapped to the wings – We Hope

You can sponsor “Bonkers Terry”, and help provide the Youth of Bedfordshire with a State of the Art Accommodation and Amenities Lodge by making a donation now and help Bedfordshire Freemasons, provide a Lasting Legacy for the Scouts and Youth of Bedfordshire.

Thank you very much for your support
