Sick Kids Save Point is the UK's biggest charity gaming marathon and this year marks its seventh year raising funds for The Sick Kids Friends Foundation.

It's a very different kind of marathon, one which can take place in your living room!

Participants play games for 24 hours straight, either in tag teams with family and friends or as a hardcore solo run. It is not an easy task and not for the faint-hearted as we push our gaming well past the point where it is fun!

Whether it be on console, computer, mobile phone, facebook or old fashioned board games, everyone is a gamer, so ALL ARE WELCOME!

Sign up today and begin preparation for your gaming challenge on the weekend of 15/16 October 2016, as a family, as a club, or on your own.

All we ask is you update the community on social media throughout your marathon using the #sksp hashtag, drink plenty of water and take regular breaks.

(Children under 18 must take part as part of a tag team rather than undertake the full 24 hours themselves)

The Sick Kids Friends Foundation

The Sick Kids Friends Foundation supports and complements the work of Edinburgh's Royal Hospital for Sick Children (The Sick Kids) as well as other children’s healthcare settings across Scotland.

We believe that nothing should get in the way of being a child. We exist to transform the experiences of children and young people in hospital so they can be a child first and a patient second.
