The Bubble Rush! A Bubbleicious 3k fun run! Dukinfield Rugby Club, Sunday 23 July.
Willow Wood are always looking for new, fun ways to raise those essential funds to help maintain our services, and have added this funtastic event to our fundraising calendar – the Bubble Rush!
The Bubble Rush does exactly what the name suggests: tens of thousands of coloured bubbles fly out of strategically placed cannons around the 3k route, and cover everyone in blue, yellow, pink or green bubbles! The bubbles are environmentally friendly and whether you enter as a family, a team or just by yourself, you’ll have a great time.
It really is a fun run with a difference!
Some of our sister Hospices have already organised a Bubble Rush, and they all have been absolutely wonderful – just check out some of the photographs at www.bubblerush.co.uk! We’re really looking forward to bringing this event to our community; it’s something that the whole family can enjoy. The bubbles may be up to your knees, up to your waist or even over your head but they are totally safe and environmentally friendly so just make the most of your time in the foam.
The early bird rates are valid until the end of May and every entrant will receive a branded T shirt and a medal! Once you’ve registered you get an Information Pack within two weeks with full details of the day.
Register now and start fundraising for your local Hospice!
The registration fee covers the cost of staging the event, so please try and raise as much in sponsorship as possible, to enable us to continue our loving care. We’d like everyone to try to raise at least £50 and once registered an online fundraising page will be set up by everyday hero. Why not start your fundraising by sharing the link with family, friends and colleagues? We’d really appreciate it!
We’d also like to thank Dukinfield Rugby Club and iTrain Gym for their support.
Willow Wood Hospice
Willow Wood relies almost entirely on the continued support of the people of Tameside and Glossop in order to provide Hospice care for those in need of their specialist services. This year it will cost upwards of £2.3m to enable the Hospice provide the loving care for which it is noted. With over 75% of this figure coming from within our community your valuable and continued support ensures that Hospice care is readily available to those in need at no cost to themselves.
