A Forever Tribute Fund is a unique and meaningful way to celebrate the life of a loved one and raise money for a cause close to your heart.

A tribute fund is easy to set up and gives friends and family a simple and positive way to remember someone special. People can contribute however and whenever they wish, for example making a donation (perhaps on an anniversary or other significant date), setting up a regular gift, requesting donations in lieu of presents, taking part in a sponsored challenge or holding an event. Each gift serves as a tribute to a loved one and will support patients in whichever area of Nottingham's hospitals you choose.

When you set up a tribute fund you can create a dedicated online page where friends and family can share pictures and memories and make donations to the fund.

We will keep you updated about the work that your support helps make possible and send you ideas for things you can do to help grow your Forever Tribute Fund.

Nottingham Hospitals Charity

Nottingham Hospitals Charity exists to enhance patient care at Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust’s Queen’s Medical Centre, City Hospital and Ropewalk House campuses. Your donations help provide the added extras that make a real difference to our patients, such as improved facilities, specialist equipment, medical research and staff development programmes.

Evelyn Arslan has set up a Forever Tribute Fund in memory of her daughter Janet Arlsan who passed away in 2011.

Janet lost her fight with Secondary Breast Cancer on May 22nd 2011. She was 41. That same week I was diagnosed with Breast Cancer. Still in grief, I dreaded going to the same places that Janet had known so well during her ten year battle. Everywhere I went nurses, receptionists, doctors, consultants and surgeons all seemed to share my sadness at losing such an amazing person. After reluctant surgery and radiotherapy I have now been told that my
blood is back to normal. But I want Janet’s legac
y to continue. In setting up this Forever Tribute Fund, I hope that those whose lives were touched by Janet will join us in funding the Breast Cancer Unit at the City Hospital.” Evelyn Arslan
